Terms of Service
The agreement
between you and Mori.
1. The service
Mori is a period tracking and estimation app for Android (iOS in preparation). Its core features — recording, calendar, estimates, insights, export, reminders and deletion — are free, work fully offline, and require no account. An optional paid unlock, Mori Cloud Sync (Lifetime), adds encrypted cloud backup and multi-device sync for a one-time price of US$3.99. Purchases, license keys and refunds are governed by the Purchase & Refund Policy.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. By using Mori you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your data and your responsibilities
Your records are stored on your device and belong to you. If you enable cloud sync, snapshots are encrypted on your device before upload; you are responsible for keeping your account email accessible and your license key confidential. You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or encryption, no scraping or reselling the service, no unlawful use, and no interference with other users.
4. Accounts and license keys
A sync account is created only when you choose to enable sync or redeem a license key. Each license key can be redeemed by one account. We may suspend accounts or disable keys involved in fraud, chargebacks, or abuse, as described in the Purchase & Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual property
Mori, the Mori name and mark, and the app's design and code are owned by the developer. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Your data remains yours; you grant us only the technical permission needed to store and transmit it when you enable sync.
6. Health disclaimer
Mori is a health management and self-understanding tool, not a diagnostic, treatment, contraceptive guarantee or emergency medical service. All figures for periods, ovulation windows and ovulation days are estimates based on your own records and cannot replace professional medical advice. If symptoms are severe, persistent or worrying, please consult a healthcare professional.
7. Service availability and changes
Core features work offline and do not depend on our servers. The optional sync service is provided on a best-effort basis; we may modify, suspend or discontinue it with reasonable notice. If the sync service is permanently discontinued, you will be able to export your data and delete your account.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data that you did not export or sync. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or US$3.99 if you have made no purchase).
9. Termination
You can stop using Mori at any time; deleting the app and your sync account ends the relationship. We may terminate access for breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, data ownership) survive termination.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be announced on this site.
